There are two regions where Zebrawood can be found, Cameroon and Gaboon West Africa. Although the same species, the appearance varies from the different origins. The Cameroon Zebrawood usually contains more gum spots and the background is a little darker. The most requested type of Zebrawood is the Gaboon. It contains less gum deposits and has a lighter background. The stripes are dark brown to black with contrasting and very parallel pattern, which is why the name zebra is involved.
