Wenge

Flat Cut Wenge

Wenge is sometimes referred to as African Palisander. It usually found in the Congo, and it is dark brown in color with an almost black grain pattern. It is a very hard wood and it is usually used for decorative purposes for wall panels. Occasionally Wenge is used for high end cabinetry.
