Anigre is from Africa and can be referred to as Aningeria, Landosan, Mukali, Kali, Mukangu, Muna, or Osan. It is varies in color from a bright brown to white, and sometimes a shade of pink. Most of the time it is cut on a quarter and can display a straight grain or a wavy. Anigre can come with virtually no figure or occasionally very highly figured, depending on the log. It is most often used for architectural and design woodwork.
